Garavelli: Tartar Sauce

The key to Garavelli's fried fish sandwiches was their house-made tartar sauce, which was available for purchase at the restaurant.

As for the fish, it was Icelandic cod breaded with Golden Dipt All-Purpose Breading, deep fried until golden brown.

Kraft Extra Heavy Mayo Tartar Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Kraft heavy mayo

  • 1 cup Kraft extra heavy mayo

  • 5 1/2 Tbsp white onion, finely diced

  • 1 1/2 Tbsp half kosher dill pickle, finely diced

  • 1 1/2 Tbsp sweet pickle relish

Preparation

Combine well and chill.
