Frozen Fruit Salad

Ingredients

• 1 (16-oz) tub frozen whipped topping, thawed

• 1 Tbsp mayonnaise

• 10 maraschino cherries, halved

• 3 Tbsp juice from maraschino cherries

• 2 Tbsp powdered sugar

• 1 (15-oz) can fruit cocktail, drained

• 1 tsp vanilla

Preparation

Place whipped topping in the large bowl of an electric mixer; beat until stiff. Add mayonnaise, cherries, cherry juice, sugar, fruit and vanilla; mix to blend thoroughly. Freeze in individual molds or a small (8-inch by 4-inch) loaf pan that has been lined with plastic wrap. For easier slicing, thaw in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving.
